Cause my garage isn't very tall to pull it out the top and it's so much easier to drop it out the bottom cause you don't have to worry about smashing into ---- trying to angle that ---- for it to come out. Plus there put in from the factory from the bottom so why not take it out from the bottom? Everything went pretty smooth besides the axles nuts were a nightmare. Took alil longer then I expected and hell we just drove the car minutes before and everything still hot as ----. Plus we decided to do this on an extreme hot and humid day so that didn't help out.
A bonus for me was John was a virgin at pulling a motor so I got to pop his cherry! lol. Now it's time for me to finish my LS build and build my manifold and get this ****** in!! Here's a some eye candy on the build up.
B18a1 longblock from my local pick and pull for 150. They pulled it and loaded in my car. I took her home stripped her down and cleaned her up and painted it with high temp paint. Bought a ebay crank pulley since the stock one was chipped up pretty good and I've never had any problems with lightweight crank pulleys on my other engines.

After I got my engine I'm like ahh ---- this is all downhill from here. It took me forever to find a reasonable price tranny. Found this hydro GSR tranny for 500 shipped and even got a shift linkage and starter too! Can't pass that ---- up.

Finally all the goodies I've picked up for this build. My forged internals I won on ebay a couple of weeks ago for 230 shipped! Eagle rods and SRP pistons. Blox manifold, act unsprung 6 puck, aasco 8lb flywheel brand new I picked up just the day before locally for 100! Two DSM T25's that are going on. Not pictured are ARP head studs also for some more icing on the cake. Just gotta start on my manifold now. Plan to run 15psi on this engine. Should be a nice grocery getter in my 4dr :P

I was just alil dirty but ran fine and we even took out and he got to drive it around so he got to see what he was getting and no surprises. Though if anything happens I told him I got his back and do whatever to help him out.

go with a sprung clutch disc, just alot easier on the drivetrain and holds the power just fine.

Twin T25's eh?... take it from someone who has already done it, not worth the time. Buy a fatty single and call it a day.
