i was sitting next to the flight engineer, but my position is a electronic warfare operator and aviation systems warfare operator.
i basically operate alot of crazy ---- that i don't feel like explaining. but i do play with a huge r2d2 turret that comes down from the front of the plane with iferared (sp) and everything. lol

and i can read a license plate from miles and miles away.
operate radar and tons of other ---- too.

Jorsher and aero, yea its pretty fun at 150 ft off of the ocean with a nast storm brewing trying to track a sub. =)
but we do alot of over land troop support stuff as well.

i gotcha, i used to work COM/NAV on a different air frame, but i remember a little bit about FLIR and that other system thats something blah blah TV. i'm currently retraining as a c5 engineer.... flyers got it made

hell yea, you can't beat per-diem. staying at resorts every night while them boys on the ship sleep with 25 other guys and can't drink. or sleeping in tents.

yea we have 2 pilots, flight engineer, NAV/COM ,Tactical Coordinator, Sensor 3 operator, Sensor 2 operator and Sensor 1 operator and In Flight Technician then we usuallly have a few random people on the plane for training.
