EX is the trim level, not the chassis code. You know, like EX, DX, LX, HX

Yes. The chassi code is EJ. The 96-00 hatches were EK and the coupes EJ.

You said SOHC z6 or y8 or whatever and I was just saying the chassis code and the engine that is in the 6th gen EXs. I'm just representing 6th gen love, ya heard? :P

ok but I was not stating what motor the car came with. I was stating the motor that is in it, which is an SOHC ZC with a z6 or y8 head, not sure which.

Oh sorry. I think I misunderstood and though you didn't know, only that it was SOHC V-tec. I didn't know. Heck, up until the other day when I saw an Accord I thought they were DOHC.

my car is a 96 ex and the motor is not the stock motor....its a sohc zc vtec....its a jdm motor and i think i read somewhere that it came out of the vti or something like that...iono still tryin to figure out what car it came out of.....but yeah, jason we need to set up a time so we can do the charge piping....and i got the injector clips ordered and they are coming in the mail
