Here the deal: I returned an item purchased on ebay (the seller was willing to refund me the purchase price when the item was returned. ) and my paypal account says that the refund is pending......It has been pending for 5 days now....?!?!?!? Anybody know how long it takes for that ---- to process or is paypal taking there sweet *** time?

thanks for the reply...I figured I would ask as I am sure to get the same scripted call center response that is not a realistic timetable when I call them...

Has it been 5 days since they seller got the package back or since you sent it back? The refund should have been instant if the money was coming from their paypal balance. I just refunded a customer the other day and it went through right away. I guess if the seller had the money transfered from his bank account it might take a few days?

yeah but if the douchebag doesnt keep a balance...Paypal will hold the funds until it clears from his CC or Bank Account

My refund was even shown as completed, but took 3ish business days for it to show up on my credit card. I've never had one shown as pending on paypal thought, it's only happened once but it said complete.
