Default ---- paypal, read this *blaast rebuild*

i sold my turbo on ebay, blaast rebuilt it like 6 months ago, it worked fine when it was in my car. He writes me a bunch of emails saying the cold side seal fell out because it was the wrong size, yada yada yada He blows it up the first day its on his car. Paypal, as im sure they always do, side with this ------- -------. So i have to give him $375 and i get my turbo back broken. Suppossedly the "dynamic piston seal blew out" and it was used and abused. Someone enlighten me on how to correct this situation before i go ------- nuts. Anyone close by spokane washington?

The DMV fucked me hardcore today too, left work early and waited in line for an hour and a half untill i was next in line and they said sorry :P

You can contact the buyer on ebay by clicking on the Dispute Console. You can get his phone number and ask him what happened. This way you may have a clearer picture of what is the problem. Blaast can rebuild it for you, if after you take it apart you decide its beyond your capacity.

Yeah PayPal will screw you big time. I sold a new 360 to a sand nog on eBay. He get's it, files a complaint, and they say I have to take it back or they will refund his money and it's up to ME to get it back. I tell him fine send it back and cancel the complaint since it will be after the 10 days before I get it back. He cancels the complaint, I get it, find out he opened the case, said ---- you, and kept his money and the 360. He closed the claim and can't reopen it. Moral of this story, find a way to ---- the ******.

The OP stated that the rebuild was fine when it was on his car, after he sold it the buyer "claims" that the "seal fell out". That claim sounds suspect IMHO.

i still have it so i guess i really didnt sell it. Maybe they'll rebuild for REAL cheap? Dude thinks hes a turbo god and said all kinds of ---- how the seals were wrong and blah blah blah.

heres an early email he sent to me:

----, i checked my email to late. I got a new tial 38mm for $190.00 shipped a few days ago. The turbo came in. i unbolted it and readjusted it to fit my setup, looks good. Except for the silicone seal on the cold side. It fell out when took off the housing and for some reason the seal is way bigger the the housing, so i have no idea how it even sealed in there. I thinking I'm just going to cut it and fit it and overlap it to seal it and put a little silicone where i cut it since the seal itself is made out of silicone. What do you think? should work?
