and laws here are trying to make it so that a roll cage is illegal because it is commonly used in street racing. When things like that happen the cage saves lives, like its supposed to. damn cops.

Let me clairify, they are fine to a point and we are waaaaaaaay over that point now that we have soccor moms and 14 MPG bullshit going. There should be a limit on how many they can make.

I have to agree with random strike.. I don't want the government to limit anything about what cars we can drive. If they chose to drive something that gets 14mpg then that is their choice. The first step is they get rid of suv.. Next you can't lower your car or modify it.. give and inch and they will take a mile. They always come in through the back door also so you don't see what they are trying to do untill its too late. So while you might hate suv's, you need to suport their right to drive one and own as many as they want. When the government is ready for us to stop driving gas thirsty cars they will raise the gas tax so high that we can't afford to drive.

I seriously doubt the government will ever just raise the tax on gas so we can’t afford to drive. If somehow the American motors companies can get there stuff to get more than 14 MPG it would be amazing. Regardless if you or anyone else ones one of these POS's we still share the roads and the planet. I feel that the safety of the public and the planet far outweighs the SUV fad. But as you stated it Todd, Its peoples right then I should be able to go and kill every one of those People who cant drive them because I "feel" like it. The sad thing is that we all base what is right and wrong on our societal beliefs and not what might actually be right or wrong. But its really too bad that the people don’t realize that they can build a fuel efficient SUV. Honda will prove once again they can do that next year. But this is my rant and my opinion and none on this planet will be able to change that. Sorry for hijacking your thread I wasn’t trying tooJ
