I hear you Ososlo, I'm a habitual traffic offender as well and every time I get pulled over it's gauranteed jail time because of mandatory minimum sentences. ---- all you asshats that are saying grow up and all that nonsense. Hows about you try going without transportation for 7 years; it doesn't work. True, it's my own damn fault for not cleaning my mess up earlier, but once you're in you're in and you can't get your license back for almost ever. I didn't drive for 2 years and didn't pull any other charges and I decided to take my new 2G out for a cruise after we got the new turbo on and since cops in this town are on hyper alert for street racers I got pulled over; for no reason. The cop told me my fmic was illegal and then proceeded to have my car impounded for 90 days (over $4k to get out) and I'm definitely going to be doing at least 90 days on this one.
I lucked out and only did 21 days the last one I got over 2 years ago. I was being so good too, but ---- man, when you don't have the ability to drive it's like being on house arrest. I fucked up and drove the Talon to school a few times and got pulled over almost right away. Now my time resets for getting my license back and I'm looking at some pretty serious jail time.
The thing is I come from a good family and have zero criminal charges on my record except for driving. I'm doing more time that people with 3rd degree felonies and DUI's! Also, I can't move states because now they're all linked so if you're fucked in one state you're fucked in all. I'm actually looking into what it takes to become a citizen of New Zealand or Canada because then I could drive. If I stay in the U.S. I can't drive for at least 4 years and if I get caught again it's 360 days mandatory minimum. For driving a ------- car!!!!!!!!
