I just want a new daily driver, I'm still considering a 5.0 as the fun car but I don't know about insurance we called about my dad who has an insanely clean driving record on the new tiburon he wants to get and it would go up a good amount imagine me, my mom already told the insurance guy I race :1

if you're used to japanese cars, you're going to get really pissed off when you try to work on it. possably the worst designed engines ever.

I had to do a timming belt job on one, and a HG on another. They were N/A but holy ---- chrysler is retarded.

what I can remember:
to change the drive belt (not timing belt) driven waterpump, you must remove the timing coer
to remove the timing cover you must remove the AC compressor, alternator, and bracket
to remove the bracket you must remove the motor mount
lining up the timing marks is almost pure luck
distributor is driven by the timing belt of a seperate shaft and gear than the cam

chrysler turbo still makes more tq than any honda and most other forieghn 4 bangers. if your lucky and end up with a common block engine that would do over 400whp on stock internals.

I'm not looking for anything insane, I want it to still be a reliable daily driver that I can do mad tyte jdm ebrake snowdrifting in and not worry about it blowing up. Maybe 20 to 30 hp over stock.
