nope, and i was never stupid enuff, and never will be to drive one... a couple buddys of mine own them and i work on them all the time with them and each time i find out out much stupider those germans were building those ---- holes.

An A2 Vdub was my first car and I loved it. I pieced together a turbo kit like that guy did from an old diesel, and the CIS injection is actually pretty easy to work with, as long as you don't have some gay vacuum leak from the 8 miles of hose hooked to it and yes megasquirt pwns with one of those. Stuff is cheap as ***** for one of those, so if ya blow it up, who cares, go to a junk yard and get another motor for $150. I personally prefer the A1 chasis, it weighs like 1750lbs stripped, lighter than any eg I've owned. Vwvortex has some decent info, but its no really organized well,...I say buy that ----.

i'm not sure if it was a problem back then but my boy killed his 20th ann after 20k miles...overheated and everything plastic in the engine bay melted....which was basically everything...
