your in seattle? i got a homie who i think is still trying to sell his dad's beamer. its the early 90's style and has a rare, 1 of 600, inline 6 motor, hauls ***

i think they want like 5k for it, but it's definately worth it IMO. i'll talk to him tomarrow

i voted bmv, but only because, even if it's a 318, it sure beat the ---- outta driving a f150.

actually instead of the 318... I found something better. You said you have a 4k budget. Get this:

Those are just a few of the ones I found on ebay. I'd look into those year 3-series. For the same budget, they look better.

the 91 bmw 318is has a m42b18 motor in it that somes from the factory with forged crank rods and pistons...and 10.5:1 compression...get a head gasket and you will have a nice motor to boost...

stock they are slow but they handle better than most

I agree, if your looking for an everyday driver you are going to be way happier with this body style BMW.

those motors suck in those cars....they are non vanos, weight more and dont make a much more power than the e30s 1.8l

plus there is a lot of motors you can swap into the e30 chassie. check out e30tech.com
