Default Opinions

Most of you know the car I drive.

Well, she lost some oil and the timing belt is f'd, so not only does it not start, even if it did its screwed.

So what's your opinions? Mechanic said he could have my car running by next week for the low low cost of $1200.. screw that. I paid $1400 for the car.

I'd like to do a swap with a manual transmission, if the price is right, and if I'm going to even swap. Anyone have any ideas as to what I should do, and if you're local, got an engine and want to have an HMT swap meet? :P

I have a D16Z6 head in my garage, missing a few things but the full valvetrain in there, make an offer if you want it

replace the timing belt, and then find the oil leak, its prolly somehting really dumb like the oil pan gasket or drain... Do the manual swap, im prolly going to be doing one by next spring, and after u swap it, BOOST it! but if the head is bad, do a ZC swap, thatd be nice, speakin of ZC, wheres ZC4ME been? i havent seen that scary **** around in a minute

awww fatty is in need of a hug

generally manuals are CHEAPER than autos and not finding a manual car is a bit far fetched

and btw i wasnt trying to offend anyone with my previous post, it was just an observation, unlike this one, fatty

Yeah, the leak's in the oil pan.. but the bottom end is fudged regardless, it was tapping badly before I let her sit.

Car is in real good shape, and it was $1400, and I needed a car. Auto wasn't my first choice, trust me. Almost had a turbo 5 speed subaru instead.
