Yea... Umm.. It would be a good thing to have a wastgate. See, a turbo spools around 50,000 to 150,000 RPM at full boost at "lets say" 8psi. Once at 8psi, the wastgate opens to release extra exhaust, IF NOT, the turbo wolud boost beyond what it and your engen is capable of. Like about 30+ psi. Hope that helps..
