from what i was told the mounts on the block were too far off to be used without some serious custom mounts.
It bolts right in. Trust me.

The crx and civics had zc's both carbed and fi'ed in JDM land. Our d16a1 is a lesser engine than the zc.

Here's some pics of my POS:
This one is taken a few years back with a d16a1 in the car:

Here's my baby(88-89 d16a1 lower end):

Another...you can see the eagle rods:

Here it is in my car with a ZC head:

For the bling bling effect:

Here's another random of my 00 altima se 5speed taken at yellowstone national park over the summer:

Piece of my heart is with the 1gen rex/3rd gen civic. Alot of my old school buddies had them ef's were way expensive and you could get the old school rex's for less than a 1g. I wouldnt mind getting one the guage cluster in them are sweet and the dash

I am boosting around 13psi steady and it spikes to 16psi, although i am using a crappy setup. Vx mani, adapter tube, and the almighty T25 turbo

My best run to date on street tires with an open diff spinning 1st 2nd and 3rd gears was 13.7 @ 107.

The car is coming off the road soon. I am picking up an 87 hf converted to fuel injection already with a d16a1 in it from a friend. So this winter I will be buying a real manifold, turbo, 450's and an afc. Then I should be in the low 12's.

It bolts into the 84-87 CRX and Civic. You need to find the Si models though or you will have a BIG hassle with the wiring and fuel lines.

I honestly and not sure. I ripped my ZC apart after I killed some ringlands ALthough I haven't taken my d16a1 apart yet so i am not sure about the pistons, but i'd think they're the same along with the rods. The cams are different along with the IM design and TB. The ZC has a dual butterfly setup on the TB while the d16a1 only has one large one. I'm pretty sure the ZC's also had a 4-2-1 exhaust mani.
That's all i can think of off the top of my head.
