hell i got shock once back then on 220V
only my thumb was in contact with bare wires and i can hear these scary "BewwwBeewww" noise inside my ear while it happen.
and that ---- just keep on SUCKING you into it, it took a few sec of stuggling to get off it

Power (Watts) = Voltage(Volts) x Current(Amps)
so yeh, assuming 2 electrical appliances are rated at the same wattage, the 220V item will require half the current of the 110V.

its weird, i tried wleding in my garage and all the lights fluxuated and the spool wouldnt even penetrate the metal. it would even trip the breaker for the garage lights and ----. i did however try to pulg into my kitchena nd all went well, no fluxuation and the welds actually penetrated well.
