We are not sure yet, but we want to keep it well under $15. It will be cheaper for those with cast pans, as no inside backing flange is needed. Those who will be installing these in stamped pans will have an additional piece on the inside of the pan to make a stiffer final install. Kinda making a sandwhich of the stamped material between the two pieces.
We are also sourcing aircraft hardware for these, as I want our customers to be able to safety wire them in place to further reduce the chance that something will come loose and end up in the mechanicals.
The kits will include the flanges, the gasket, the hardware, we may even throw in a bit of safety wire.

Shadow - Just picked up the same fuel cell type fitting from Barry Grant. It has the nice radius on the inside and AN 8 on the outside (the T25s are much smaller on the drain side.). There is just no way to ensure the nut does not back off...
Stealthmode - I'm with you on that, it will have to be quite high as well, since the internal baffle gets in the way of anytrhing lower.
WhiteRice - Excellent illustration of a great idea. We'll probably do three pieces, the slip, the threaded, and a single backing plate that works for both styles. This will be cheaper for all in the long run.

using that illustration as a reference, why not have the bolt on the insided coming out and a nut on it there. then if you can find a bolt that has a hole in it you can use some cotter pins to hold it in place. With the nut on the outside inspection is easier aswell.
