Oh, link works now due to a clever edit job. Why were you embarassed about that? It looks good. I'm no Mazda expert, but what was swapped in it? Was it the factory motor or was it a bigger/better one?

The swap...oh my...long story. Basically, I was in corvallis, I needed to drive home to see my dieing grandfather (wonderful I know) and I'm in the middle of Salem on I-5 and my car breaks down. We don't take it anywhere because I'm poor and have no money. So my boyfriend at the time, who works for a Mazda Performance shop (www.SorkSport.com) says that the piston had probably fused to the cylinder due to poor maintenance and lack of oil getting in and "lubin it up"
I argued that, that couldn't be it because I had had regular oil maintenance done to it since I bought it. But this is like an "over time" type deal where the morons before me didn't take care of it. ( I really shouldn't have bought this car...it came with zero records) So we order a new motor from this place in Lynnwood that ships for free and we get the new motor and sawp it in. (out came the stock american motor for a used JDM motor) It wasn't until later that we found out that the piston had NOT fused, it was just a case of the connecting rod FALLING TO PIECES and busting the end of the piston. So...that's my story. If you'd like to hear more from Mary's car sucks and leaves her stranded a lot, please feel free to ask....or not give a damn.
