No way, that brings JB weld to a whole new level. Nice work. Let us know when it busts loose. :P

I would smoother the outside of the cracked area too. A little added strength.

I think it will hold fine actually. There really isn't much stress there and the boss is just there to hold the sender. It was a bitch and I really had to be careful and get the threads lined up on all the pieces. This was definitely worth a try. Hopefully it will last. Thanks for the comments and compliments guys.

If I was going to use JB to fix something like that I would cover the hole completely with JB and tap another one somewhere else for the sender.
However I prefer tig welding to JB welding.

I'm thinking my cheap *** sunpro gauges are sucking more and more, I have shitty sender that doesn't fit into the factory sender spot, so I had to plumb a t into my coolant lines.

dude, isn't that jb weld gonna burn when it starts to heat up. jb weld isnt great under heat. i saw another guy who jb welded his radiator hose area cuz he was adding some ---- where the bleeder valve was for his gauge, it ended up burning off and all his coolent leaked out anyway... jb weld under heat isn't the greatest

I read somewhere on here that jb weld is good up to 400 degrees, if your coolant is getting up to 400 degrees you have bigger problems than your temp sensor falling out.
