Well, me and chris (xenocron) have been talking this past month about making a "pinks" style car match up.. Similar to the TV show, where we (the NW crew) would build a car to race against him and (the NE crew). The winner of the race gets to keep the car. We came up with some very simple rules, and also wanted to have the "All user meet" at the same time to see if we can draw some people to the event. We are having this meet/event in St. Paul, Minnesota (with the TC Crew) July 8-9th. We are still figuring out what track we will be going to, but reguardless there will be racing at the track and the street

Here are some of the rules that we have already set.

SOHC Honda Engine vtec or non vtec
EF Chasis 88-91
DOT Tires, any variant
If the car is going to be 11's you will need a rollball obviously.. but that's pushing it with DOT's
Doesnt need to be street legal
Doesnt need to be safe
Must have the title to the car
The build time will consist of 3 months
5 members min per team
The actual race will be done by all the builders, so everyone gets a chance 5 races (Best ET overall takes it)
Amount of money to spend (unlimited)

We will probably do racing on that Saturday, both crews have to travel well over 1000 miles to meet in MN, so I think we will actually be leaving on Wed or Thur. I think both crews are definatly going to be asking for any donation of parts. You guys can do that in this thread or PM's whatever..

Anyhow, this will go down in HMT history, I hope to see alot of people at this event, it's going to be alot of fun, both crews offical start building on April 9th.

If you plan on going to the meet, please post up so we can maybe get an idea of how many people will be there, I think alot of us will be staying at local motels or steve stealthmodes front yard...

The NW crew will be leaving July 6th, The race will be at http://www.cedarfallsraceway.com on June 8th (fun/grudge meet) We will be camping in steve stealthmodes front yard

This event is postponed until further notice, ne crew had a few problems that will need to get patched up and will be reschedualed for later.

thats awesome. maybe a best 2 out of 3 pinks? I wouldnt want to see anyone loose because they couldnt hook on the first run.

i've got a A6 chillin in my backyard that i've been trying to get rid of, needs a rebuild, i believe the main problem with it is a bent valve?

i could probably give it up for cheap, assuming someone picks it up.
