I never did anything to a engine before. And jeez do I know so much more about my car since my install. To own a turbo car you must know your car. I hate it when people just throw it in a shop. The turbo install is really straight forward. All you need is some time, the right tools, ask a few questions, creativity, and a nice girlfriend to kick your *** whenever you say "---- it I'm gonna put it back stock." My girl is the only reason I succeeded. But its simple. Just post in the forums and we will answer your questions.

i understand about gaining knowledge of turbos, and not just throwing it in the shop. i agree completely on that, thats one of my reason for trying this myself. but the reason im offering the money is that im messing up over and over, its not just a mess 1 time or twice, its like..8 messes, big ones, that takes a crap load of my time, and im sick and tired.....but yeah yall are right, i know damn well ill feel good if i do it myself and it comes out right at the end. but damn, seriously i give mad respect for those here who knows their stuff and got their cars running. i been reading for about 8 months or so before i started attempting this, but its ALL those little *** details thats been left out that it feels like IM the one finding out what not to do lol well anways, i guess im gonna give it one more shot this week and this weekend, but if someone gets a hold of me before this weekend, its still game for yall, ill dish it outta my credit card

or if all else fails, put everything on and get it running even if it has a few bugs in it if you can't figure it out but can still drive it then take it to a shop not for them to do it but for advice maybe. i just put mine on and am having idle problems but i pulled my codes and am gonna try something new tomarrow. just take it easy, and take your time. if you think about it all it is is taking off a manifold and replaceing it with a turbo, running oil lines, and charge pipes and maybe a few things in between. if you have a problem these guys here will help you out alot...trust me.
good luck

i did have everything installed, but now i have to replace the bolts that connects the downpipe to turbo (5) cuz 3 came off. so now im still seeing if i can bolt the bolts back on without unbolting the manifold, downpipe, and undoing all the oil lines. and i also need to take care of installing my radiator fan back, so now im also in the process of making space of where my intercooler pipe was that goes to intake mani. since im doin that, i also need another upper ic pipe bent and cut, then i gotta redo my bov. so its pretty much 3-4 things that will take me a while to do

Just take a little breather for now and get away from it for a few before you really burn yourself out. I have had hell when i first got my fiero but i stayed with it and she runs freakin great. Take your time man work on it when your feeling up to it and not pressured. It will be ok ....im sure we all have been there once before some still are lol .best of luck to ya

This may sound dumb, but why dont you post some pictures of your setup and we can help you out by telling you what to fix, becuase we can see it. As far as the bolts, get some lock tite and the ---- will NEVER come loose again. Personally, I think you should have known that the car was going to over heat with the fan gone And yes, your car will break time and time again. Ask anybody on here, im sure there ---- breaks all the time, but they know how to fix it because they can diagnose the problem. Anywho, see if some people will help by posting some pics. Its worth a shot.
