Anyone up to helping a fellow HMT member?

Long story, short, headed down from Victoria BC(canada, for some of you that may not know) to seattle for a few days. The initial plan was california, but the weather kinda foiled that plan and i didnt feel like wading through flooded streets.

So we hit up seattle and everything went well on the trip except the place we stay. Note: dont let your friends book a hotel room where they have never been...BAD IDEA!

we ended up staying at the West Seattle Travelodge and well the stay was interesting.

Anyhoo, amoungst all the travelling and money spending, i apparently left a black kangol toque aka skull cap aka "canadian hat" as some friendly nordstrom employee's called it, haha, that i had bought from nordstroms.

Normally i wouldnt really give a ---- if i left something behind as ---- does happen, but i had that hat for less than a day and for some strange reason this is really irritating me....

I have a suspicion that the maid or receptionist already has taken it and claimed it there's, as that does happen most times, although to avoid any stereotyping, i must say there are some honest ppl out there still.....just not where i stayed, since the place looked rather sketchy from the get-go.

So this very big/odd favor is if someone is residing in that area that could wander down if i can get the receptionist to cough up my hat(when i call them in the am tomorrow), becuz i know it is/was there and stuff in a legal sized envelope and mail it back to me in canada?

yes, this is a bizarre and truthfully a pretty stupid request, but i want that damn hat back, lol.

If I was still living in WA I'd prob head down and get it for you, but Billings, Montana is too far of a drive. Sorry bro... and for some optimisim, my ex-girlfriend once left her purse in a Hotel room in Vancouver, BC on vacation with her mom. I was nominated to up to pick it up (only 3 hrs each way) and when i got to the Hotel I asked the receptionist if she had a pink purse someone left behind, sure enough she pulled it out from the drawer of her desk and asked if it was it. When I checked thru it, it even had $400 cash that my ex had left in it. So go Canada, you hosers kick ***. Oh And props to Granville ST or whatever (SP?) for helping me out when we broke up... damn I love canadian girls
