NW get to know the local nogs/BBQ

Re: NW get to know the local nogs/BBQ
Some other good spots that are a little bit out of the way but worth it are: Diablo/Ross Lakes, Iceberg Lake by Mt. Baker, and of course Baker Lake. The cool thing about Ross and Diablo Lakes are that they're really secluded and boat in only so we wouldn't be disturbed at all. I know a downright killer spot on Diablo with fire pits, developed places to pitch a tent, lots of cliff jumping, tons of open space, and nobody for miles around. There's a ---- ton of good, safe, and free parking too.
Last summer me and about 10 bros and some chicks spent 6 days there and it was a full on party the whole time. We never got hassled once and tore ---- up like crazy. We even fired off our weapons during the middle of the night a couple times hahaha! I can't believe the sherrif or somebody didn't stop by because semi-auto rifles and 12 gauges echoed off the cliffs like a ----------er. That just proves there's absolutely nobody around.
I could bring my boat over there easily and ferry folks and supplies back and forth and do excursions during the day. It seats 8 comfortably with gear and goes almost 40 knots, so the couple mile trip to the spot is only about 5 mins. The fishing is killer too. The nice thing about the Ross Lake area too is that it's relatively close to us far NW guys and Seattle area too. If you want more info PM me. I'd be willing to reserve the spot and supply a ---- ton of good bud and brew. I need to party this summer to get over a huge loss I just took. It's just an idea, but I'm absolutely positive everyone who makes it out would love it. Count me in no matter where it is though.
