Default No HMT meet so hello Ferrari challenge..56k die and reincarnate without 56k

Looking at my Road America magnet on the fridge to see if anything cool is coming up awhile ago and notice a Ferrari/Maserati Challenge that was the same weekend as the HMT meet was suppose to be. Since it was postponed it was game. 15 bucks to get in and free parking. I was never a big Ferrari person but still felt shafted after the meet was postponed so I needed some racing to watch. Good thing Road America is only 45 minutes from my house. So we packed up the family and headed down to watch some Ferraris race. It was nice cause you could just walk right into the paddock and get upclose with all of the cars and some they would let you sit inside and ----. Alot of the race teams were really nice people and not stuckup like I would of imagined them to be. I would of posted the pics last night but I got mad sunburned and felt like ----. Hell it was like a car show just in the parking section. Ferrari's, NSX's, Lotus's, M3's,m5's, Porsche's, Ford GT. The Red NSX was amazing and that was just in the parking lot!Once I figure out how to transfer the video clips I have I'll post those too. Enjoy. The race cars were relatively stock since it was a challenge of the drivers and not who had the most money to modify their cars. Just mostly dealt with safety like with roll cages yada yada yada.. for the newer ferraris while the older stuff was pretty much open game. Only one crash and that was with the newer ferrari race they had. It was in a back section of the track and I never got to see the car since when they brought it back it was completely covered up but it was messed up pretty bad. Only carnage I could see was the wheel and axle snapped clean off. They brought back a couple of older GT's that broke down during the race.
Pulled into the parking lot and parked next to this.

Still in the parking section..

mad jDm slanted tip

They also have a Skip Barber school at Road America also.

Cool. Good post. Looks like fun because you could actually get close and probably talk with everyone.

It was pretty cheap cause i wanted to go for the whole time which was Friday-sunday for only 30 bucks. Food wasn't too bad. Bottled water was only 1.50 and burgers and ---- were all under 4 bucks. I got a ferrari challenge t-shirt for just 20 bucks. Cheap fun time. Only thing was there wasn't a F40 or an enzo there what I really wanted to see the most. Ehh maybe next year. Next on the Ferrari challenge is Lime Rock.

I've only seen like 3 ferrari's in my entire life before then. After walking around for awhile it was like...oh another ferrari. :P lol. I wish they had more of a selection. The new stuff was mostly F430's and 360's. I was really dissapointed when I overheard there wasn't even 1 enzo here or even a F40.
