Ok I am now officially fed up with this whole carpet in cars idea, The carpet in my 4 door was ruined by the previous driver, it was never washed and it looks like ---- and worst of all, it smells like sulphiric acid (fart smell from the drivers side foot area) what I was thinking of doing is removing the carpet and putting in something like the honda element has, a big rubber mat or something.

Can you guys give me any ideas as to what I can do?

And also where can i get a big enough piece of rubber to cover the floors? I was thinking the covers for the back of cargo vans would be perfect, theyre light, thin strong and look good, but are still not big enough for my application.

That would be a great idea, but expensive and messy wouldnt it? plus where around the london and toronto area do you know anyone that does it?

you can get oem style replacement for $100-$200.

Thin industrial rubber tile flooring might look good, its the stuff you see with the circles on top

just take it all out and spray in that bedliner stuff just like the jeep boys

Take it out then get some rubber truck floormats at autozone or somewhere for like 10 bucks. You can take um out to clean and they are tough as nails
