No matter what gas owns electric. electric may be made to go a ---- load faster, but gas>electric still.

You need to tune that bitch.....and everytime the weather changes you need to re tune it.
Buy a pyro meter (Duratrax=Cheap) and tune it rich, then lean it out until your just under the heat threshold, turn the adjustment screw 1/4 of a turn, then shoot it with the pyro....when you are in range, adjust it 1/8 a turn at a time....You need to do this everytime the ambient temperature changes a few degrees out.
Ive never owned a gas car but can tune them like a champ....I always help the newbs get their cars on the track.
Ive raced electric off and on since I was 13 years old. I race off and on road....and I never will buy a gas I hate getting to the track in the morning, and listening to the harmony of people tunning engines at 8am.
The elec mods now are getting so fast that many of their laps are wayyy faster on the track then the gas....and this on a HUGE outdoor track (1/8 scale cars run this track)
