Theres a program in beta versions right now called srtalk. Made by the guys that are doing ztalk, the ubderdata and turboedit of the z-car world. Theyve done it on the sr and ka ecus too now, but its still real buggy. Eventually it will have a working version out.

I like this idea But if that is an sr20( I did'nt know they came in that new of sentras especially non ser's did'nt the spec v phase out the sr20) anyways your best bet is going to be egay for a stock sr20det setup.

if its the SR20 you can swap in a FWD SR20DET or you can turbo that motor. That bottom end in those SR20's are good for 400 whp (proven many times )

It is the SR20, unless they made the other motors that said "SR20" on them. lol

I'm not looking to go super Nissan JDM, I'm just looking to do a good hmt setup on it and I"m concerned with the fuel management and that MAF sensor. I've never dealt with that ---- on my honda.

steve, alot of people are sucessfull with these cars, they just put sr20det injectors in and use an safc to rescale it. and its pretty cost affective. I know you said you where trying to find something other than the afc.. but as an example, this one guy that comes into the local shop alot has a bone stock gti-r motor (itb's and turbo :-) ) all he did was upgraded the turbo to a t3/to4r, and put some 750cc injectors in, and rescaled useing the afc and hit 509 whp @ 23psi of boost :-) on a bone stock motor. So you might try using the safc.

interesting cause on the engine matrix on fresh alloy the 2000+ has the G18de...I wonder if the motor was swapped in?? thats really strange...and it says "SR20" engraved on the block?? I'm not doubting you, but if it is thats very strange. the last SRs were in the late 90s 200sx SERs and thats it...than Nissan phased it out for the new QRs

if it is the SR20 than just slap a little kit on it and go to town. the n/a SRs are pretty strong and can stand some power. if you're not really serious no need for the bluebird swap and all that, just get you a manifold and throw a simple kit together.

It would be way easier ( and probably cheaper) to buy a jdm sentra front clip and swap motors than to up grade yours to be able to turbo...nissans are a pain to up grade....side feed injectors...small air flow meter.. dont know about how beafy non turbo engine are.... its kinda like buying a non turbo eclipse and trying to put a turbo on it. why bother...stock sr20dets are known to hold over 400 hp with a stock bottom end...and can put out over 200 at the wheels stock just by turning up the boost...I know front clips are probably out of your budget about 2500 but I'd say if your going to go turbo might as well start with a good set up.....BTW how much do you drive your wifes car?? soon as you put a turbo on this thing your gonna have to buy her another car
