once again, i didnt say HMT.com setups

i know home made turbo setups are not solely to blame, however, i am positive that backyard mechanics and their half assed turbo setups did play a role in this rule being implemented....

is that better?

please dont get all butt hurt because you read my post wrong

I didn't read it wrong really, but anytime you use homemadeturbo setups in a sentence, we will think HMT.com setups.
Just like if you said turbod16 setups, would go to them, or honda-tech setups, whocares.......

I don't...............

OK Home made turbo kits are awesome, and just because a turbo kit is homemade does not constitute lack of integrity, that all lands in the hands of the builder, end of debate...

So, no matter what you are running at the track, even if you are running 20 second quarters, if there is a turbo kit on your car, that was not there from the factory, you need the jacket, am I reading that right? Just trying to clarify.

So where is a good place to pick up a cheap saftey certified jacket?

yes, you are reading it correctly

and you can pick them up from summit racing for like $60

once again, i agree, not all home made turbo setups are bad, however there are a good number of home made setups that are pretty ghetto, and those are the ones that i am refering to.

remember the saying... one bad apple spoils the bunch, in other words, shitty home made setups give good home made setups a bad rep.

for gods sake, i had a shitty homemade setup, ive gotten much better and have a very good setup now.
