I hope that they dont update the rules for running here, because my laptop is always hooked up in y car, but now I have the zeitronix display so I should be good, but I would like to datalog while I am racing. this year is gonna be my first time running on the track, and I am trying my best to meet all requirements

it affects EVERY track in north america that is a sanctioned NHRA track.... if you dont race at an NHRA track, you dont have to worry....
also, rawr.... who gives a ---- if you already have a jacket and whats that got to do with anyone else and this thread?

So stupid ******* that can't get turbo cars into the 13s will need a jacket... but no helmet? Wonder how much RCI paid NHRA to make up that rule.
I think tech should be relative. If you roll into tech with a safe well put together car they should be reasonable about it. None of this punishing the import kids by making them buy more safety gear they don't need (I can understand it with nitrous) However, if you pull into tech with a shady heap of crap you should need a fire suit, helmet, knee and elbow pads, mouthgaurd...

Meh, who cares. There's a ton of rules that aren't really enforced when running at local tracks for test and tune and the stuff I usually go for. But the required jacket is only $45.00, and it'll make you look like a real badass at the street races. :P
