Newb
Hey guys. sweet site. I am slowly working my way through the new user faq in forced induction. Holy ---- that is a lot of info! I'm building a HMT for my 2g prelude si. I have a tdo5 12a conquest turbo and I am going to make a log mani for it. I'll be asking lots of dumb questions....

Re:Newb
I know it's really small. I got it for the grand total of "nada" so I will build the stuff and proly sell it this summer. I can't believe they ever used that donut sized thing on a conquest. I think they were like a 2.6 or something. Can you say full boost at idle?
I'm running the stock a20. It holds up pretty well. The problem is the clutch. I know a guy who melted the strongest single plate clutch ACT makes for these engines, on stock internals. 12 psi unintercooled. 190hp, 250tq. I heard that he is getting a custom clutch disc made. Hopefully I will need one soon.

Re:Newb
The a20a3 is in the 87 prelude si. It's the same as the BT in the 86 prelude. The 88-89 accord got a a20a1. They are all sohc 12v cast iron blocks. Heavy as hell. I put one in without a lift The b20 came in the 2g lude only in japan. It's a little differant than the b20's that the 88-91 lude has. I wonder if I can send a rod through an iron block?
