If that's a pipe going from air filter to compressor inlet, then yeah it's backwards. If it's a piece of charge pipe then it makes absolutely no sense.

The air filter is in the fender, the charge enters at the bottom of the cooler on one side of the tubes flows through the fins and out the top of the cooler opposite the inlet. The black hose in the top of the cooler is water in from a tank in the back of the car, water flows down through the cooler and through a snowmobile radiator in the bumper, back to the tank.I had the by pass in the other way but one day smoking herb decided that at what point will the boost open the valve(originaly at 6psi both valve and turbo off a stock Saab) so I swaped it thinking now the pressure is on the back of the seal , works fine for now.I'll post more and better pics later........and some **** for that eger guy! @ work now and got better **** on the home system.

No, it doesn't work at all. Boost referrence pressure coming in the top via vacuum port completely offsets boost pressing against the vlave which is at that point being held shut by spring pressure. You close the throttle so the vacuum port sees vacuum while the bottom of the valve sees pressure and it overcomes spring pressure and bypasses air. The other way around it's closed all the time, great way to get compressor surge.

I see what your saying ,Did'nt really think of pressure coming down that line under boost and helping hold the valve shut, guess I'll swap it back, but it does work, you can hear the pressure expel when you shut the throttle.

You're doing fine, it's just a simple misconfiguration. Setup looks pretty clean otherwise.
