Well about a hour ago my mom gave me that tag thingy the UPS man hangs on your door if you miss your ----.
As soon as I saw it I had a huge grin on my face, I knew what it was, so I hurried to my car and drove down to the post office and this is what I get.



Suzuki Vitara pistons, they are brand new and came with Hasting Rings. wow these things are pretty sweet, too bad I wont be seeing them for much longer cuz they will be going in to the engine this week...(THANKS FJT from H-T and D-Series.org. Great guy to deal with and uber fast shipping)



Here is one of the pistons mated to the LS rod.

I started on some head porting 2 days ago, I'm finally almost done all of the intake runners.




Here is a closer shot, Not the greatest picture but if you saw these in reality you'd refuse to believe that this is my first time porting and polishing by myself,(no worries, i've been researching the topic for a long long time, just never had a build to do it on)

The runners are a mirror finish and everything is smooth.



This is the exhaust side, i'm going to start on it tomorrow.

I honestly cant wait to finish this build, i'm scrambling to get bits and pieces together so I can complete this build, i'll definetly be done for the spring, hope we get some warm days here soon so I can install this badass motor.

Incase some of you forgot what this engine is going in to, here is my car.



Oh yeah, I dont have that exhaust anymore, its been upgraded, so dont even start with the pencil dick comments, lol

Yes, about 300, I hope these rods hold it, hence why I wanna go with an water/alcohol injection, raise Octane and not worry about detonation.
