i might be a lil late here, but i just found out about the new skylines being the same car as the G35

my firend's father in Jamaica owns a business that imports cars from Japan, he said it is nothing like the concept car and it is EXACTLY like the G35 coupe. EVEN the G35 sedan is called the skyline in Jamaica.

what yall think?

Thats bullshit. Nissan needs to step up and make the skyline the mark that it used to be. I've heard that they were going to bring it here as an infinity (I was hopeful that it would replace the ugly *** M45), and that fell through. Then I heard that they were going to bring it here as a big V8, but that fell through as well. No one doubts that the Nissan VQ engine is a sweet engine, but they need to put in some R&D to make a new pengine rather than shoehorning it into almost every car they make.

i do like the infinity G35 coupe and sedan.....very impressive cars, BUT for a skyline...HMMM not too sure about that,

if nissane twin turbo that bitch and sent it here as a GT-R, then we are in business

Nissan just simply calls it the Skyline overseas, its the same as the US G35, its not replacing the GTR.

this is apparently the prototype GTR(35) version...this is pretty old news, not sure how its changed since then

i am not sure if nissan is goin to use that prototype design........according to my friend, he said the GT-R will be released in 2005, and it might just be a upgraded version of the current skyline(G35) as usual.

but hey maybe i'm wrong....i am just as axious/curious to see what the new GT-R will look like.
