Welcome Brad to homemadeturbo.com
yes, you can turbocharge your honda very easily. this site is mostly dedicated to turbocharging honda's but as you will find out, the people on this site will turbo charge just about anything that can be turbo'd.
Check out the site, read the FAQ's and read other peoples posts/threads. There is so much info on this site that it is nuts.
Your most basic steps:
1. How much boost do you want to run. Most people on D series motors run between 6-8psi, and 10 is about the most ive seen on a daily driven car. (this was tuned perfectly)
2. How much do you want to spend. You can spend anywhere between about $300-$1000 depending on how you want to set your car up.
3. once you figure that out, you are well on your way.
check the classifides section. there are always great deals going on in there.
Like I said, welcome, search the site a little, then come back with questions. You will find that turbocharging your honda is ALOT easier than you think.

Re:new be with a question
Not just the forum, try looking in the "turbo projects" section on the main site. This will give you a good idea of many many honda turbo setups (from ghetto to elaborate) and what components are needed. By looking at those cars you will be able to make your own decisions on which components to choose.

Re:new be with a question
what your going to need are the following:
a turbo
intercooler
blow off valve
440 DSM injectors
charge piping
some type of fuel managment
misc. fittings/couples
oil feed and return lines
there is more to a set up, but thats just a general idea.
