Default New Parts

My current setup is
KRBShit manifold downpipe
tial wastegate (11.6 psi)
garret t3 .42/.48
hks bov
dsm injectors
crome basemap
d16y8 with arp headstuds and oem hg

Originally I had a "rebuilt" t3/t04e but it smoked from day one and took a ---- on me eventually. (Local sold it to me as only a few miles since rebuild)

So in the past week or so I've bought:
6 Puck Sprung Clutch from LSD with 8lb flywheel
Raceconcepts Slotted Rotors and Axxis Ultimate pads from LSD
Got that original turbo rebuilt by the gpopshop
Ordered LC1 and willems chip burner
assembled nokia data cable

So far the turbo has come back.
The compressor wheel was completelty chewed up when i sent it to them so I knew it would need replaced. When they received it they said the shaft needed repaired to. So they sent it off to the shaft rebuild place(how shitty would it be to have your job description as shaft straightener?) When they received it, they said it was beyond repair so they start their rebuild process on a core. Needless to say now the turbo looks mint and I am ultra impressed.

* T04E compressor with 54 trim compressor wheel flows 45 lbs/min or enough for 450hp
* T3 .63 exhaust housing with stage 3 turbine wheel flows enough for up to 400hp

And for those interested this is whay shaft rebuilding is:

Rebuilding a shaft consists of several different operations. The first of which is to make sure the shaft is straight. There are special tools to check this and correct it if it is bent. The second step would be to grind the shaft down to get fresh, straight, and perfectly smooth surfaces for the journal bearings to ride on. The next step is repairing the hub, the hub is the part of the shaft where the piston ring rides. If this groove is worn then the shaft will be completely welded and then ground down and machined with new grooves that are actually tighter than the factory grooves which provides a better seal. The next step is to repair the fins....if they are worn down, each individual fin is welded oversize and then hand-ground to the correct thickness, then the shaft is placed in a lathe and the profile of the fins are made with a tool post grinder. The last step in rebuilding the shaft is to balance it with the new compressor wheel and thrust parts.
I will continue to update as parts arrive and are put in. Should have time to throw in the new turbo tomorrow

i have also found that by feeding my turbo barqs it runs happier and spools up faster
