Default A new noise

This is probably a stupid question but when my car is at idle(and even driving) it makes a vibrating/buzzing noise....when i push the clutch pedal in it stops....what does this mean? I'm guessing new clutch time??

that happened with my saab. it would buzz and then when the clutch went in it stopped. i later found out i had a hole the size of a softball in my tranny. but also the car made a nasty grinding noise when trying to get the car in gear. does your car drive alright?

Mine does the same thing too. It could be the release bearing. that's the only thing i forgot to replace. Mine does it sometimes. Clutch is still good. Brand new clutch and new flywheel. They were all torque to specs. I dont know

on mine you can hear a little noise from the tanny itself when the clutch is up at idle. it sounded like someone kept on sanding something with sand paper. :P

and yea ---- it just turn the volume up. and get yourself a lsd tanny if it finally fucked up.

Prob your throw out bearing, replace it next time you replace your clutch if you can stand the noise

i started to get that when my clutch was down to nothing. id et, liek they said, its one of the bearings. it shifted fine and everything like that tho. change the bearings and put in a new clutch (if you need it). hopefully that will fix the problem

Definitly a throw-out bearing. Not too big of a deal, it can wait til you get a new clutch.

I had this same thing on a brand new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The only thing I didn't replace was the pilot bearing.
