Default New member who doesn't own a honda ;)

Several people linked me to these forums to do some research on a remote mount, for my 2006 Ford Ranger. Lots of good info here but not too much for the truck scene, but I dont think it matters much. Trucks being easier to work on anyway, its just a matter of sticking to plan. I'm pretty much trying to cut the upfront cost in 1/2 of a universal base kit from STS or similar companies. The most expensive item will be the oil pump and lines I believe. My truck is the 3.0 powered model, there is no performance aftermarket other than a discontinued $3,000 supercharger. So here i am I already own a 1989 merkur xr4ti, and a 2004 Dodge neon srt-4 that is parked needing a clutch, so snails are my friends already. The Neon has just been a credit card bolt-on extravaganza. I learned most of what i know messing with the merkur. Lot of out of the box thinking is involved when you own a vehicle that is the video game equivalent of the "sega master system." Kids under 30 wiki that one, I'll wait

I live in southern california. I really wish this forum had some sort of regional areas for members.

Very true. I see guys on craigslist trying to trade full d series manifolds+turbo and lines, sometimes fuel management for just an xbox 360 w/2 controllers and Halo. It is what it is.
