Well guys in may I graduate with my 4 yr degree in automotive & heavy equipment management with a minor in auto collision repair. Anyways I have been trying to get in with state farm for a while, and they finally made me an offer for a full time salary position as an estimator. Its 30k to start which isn't that great but I'm sure it won't take me long too advance.

So come may right after graduation i should be employed. That makes me very happy considering so many people are having trouble finding jobs right now.

I thought I'd share my good news...this may mean more parts for the sunfire this summer but I'm really saving for my own house.

hell man, i make 40k a year and i have a wife and kid, so 30k for a single person is plenty. you don't need a house, just rent for a while.

True but I'll live with my parents for a year or so and then probably move out into my own place. I dont like paying for something i dont get to keep. Besides I need a nice big garage or at least some land so I can build one.

State farm from what I've seen is a good company to work for, I'm excited to start. Maybe i can get a discount on insurance lol my horrible driving record doesnt help
