Travis, I'm glad you got a telemarketing job. It's gonna teach you how to be called a fuckfaced ----------er and how to be hung up on quick style. That's how us American's do it, and a job like this will have a nieve Canadian in tears in minutes.

Good luck hunny.

oh, don't get me wrong, I love telemarketers too. Most of the time they'll ask for me, then once they say, "Hi, this is so and so from whatever" I hang up.

Then there's some days where I just feel like ------- with people and I'll get em. Most telemarketers are unskilled in communication, and don't have a full grasp of what they are trying to sell anyway. They have a set list of reasons why I should buy whatever they are selling. When I break down every reason they gave, and why that doesn't apply to me, I just like to hear all the ---- they can pull out of thier asses.

For the most part, I want to get them to the point where they can't give me one reason why I should buy whatever they are selling. As sales people they are never supposed to run out of reasons why I should buy, and when I get them to that point and they know it, there is an overwhelming sense of satisfaction with me. lol

I just let them run out of reasons, and then let that great moment of silence happen while they are trying to think of something else to tell them. I act like I WOULD buy it, but that I'm searching for reasons why I would need it as well, so it's not completely rude, it's just that they can't complete their job on thier own (finding a reason for me to buy it)

Travis, give me a call sometime. I'll break you down quick style.
