Lingenfelter sales are so low he qualifies as kit car. No emissions required. Not the same for a modified car. The laws could be different for you but there is no way in hell your driving an 8 second car on the streets in my city. My buddy's dad has a Monte Carlo with a 454 and a blower, that thing runs 9 to 10's and he can;t even start the thing without getting himself into trouble. Same story for other acquatances of mine.

theres a few guys around here with 8 second weekend cruisers. they get in no trubble for running. it doesnt have to be loud to run 8's. most of the guys run turbos. but theres a few n/a with staged nitrous.

I was always under the impression that as long as you can drive it like you could a normal car, you can get away with it. Just gotta be smart around the police and drop it into neutral.

My car is N/A right now.... and I get crap occasionally. Running dual 3" and 40 series flows and getting roughly 400 horses. 2 turbos should quiet it down a bit... Just can't wait to test out my driveline with 10 lbs of boost. What goes first? The axle or the tranny?
