That was the stock turbo that I blew up before I bought the 60 trim, and it's not a MR2 housing.
468 isn't to bad on the stocker, IIRC there are a few guys down in the states running over 600 on it.

Awesome, my buddy has a 3G as well:
He just blew it up too I've been trying to talk him into turbocharging it, he's reluctant but we'll see.
So whats the "safe" limit on these motors, maybe I can talk chad into ~300 or so if its not too radical...

If you look after the motor you can run a quite a bit of power through them, 300 should be a walk in the park. I know the stock head gasket likes to blow up but that can be prevented, it's mostly just that the fucktards at Toyota didn't torque the head bolts down enough from the factory. The stock rods will hold up to around 550-600.
