I had a 69 Dart and I don't think the oil was changed in it......ever. That ------- oil was more like wax. Clogged the ---- out of everything.

Tell your buddy to change his ------- oil. Since this is a new motor he should chnage it at like 500 miles. Some peoples kids......

the problem with oil isn't so much dirt, but blowby. Piston rings aren't the perfect all sealing angels we think they are, they get worn out overtime especially if our friend "boost" gets to meet them. Newer cars can probably put more time between oil changed because of better technology, but 3k is good for everyone.

ya his car will run out of oil before it hits 50k

i know someone that had an astro van didint change the oil for about 85k, when they finally did chunks were coming out and it was blacker then black
