Default new car, what would you do?

I have about 15-18k to buy a new car with, i want something reliable, daily driver, decently quick, gets good gas mileage, and wont be a ton on insurance. right now im looking at and deciding between:

02 - 03 wrx sedan
04-05 pontiac grand prix GTP
02-04 buick regal
02 lexus is300

what other cars are nice in this price range and meet those criterias?

right now im pretty set on the GTP, stock supercharger with the right parts can put the car in the 11's, all i would do is intake exhaust pulley and swap everything off to warranty it. granted those mods wouldnt put it in 11's but it would be very very quick daily driver. and i think they look really really clean. is300's are nice but the car has no *****

yeah GTP is my second choice, I would get the late 90's model though because they look better I think. The only thing that turns me off from them is I wish they came in 5 or 6 speed

nah im getting the 2004+ model, its the newest one, i think the bodystyle is nicer and the interior is much comfier, the auto trans is good cuz i want it as a daily driver, although manual is much more fun
