then tell your homies about it. tell them they can strip it down to almost nothing and leave it sitting on bricks, or just your spare tire on one side and your jack on the other if they cant find bricks . my friend had us jack his car and strip it. his insurance gave him more than what his car was worth, and we got free parts . only bad thing is our one homie is a ------ pyro, and burned whatever was left of his car. that made the police investigate more than they probably otherwise would have, and asked my buddy a funkload of questions.

Although I sometimes feel like doing that, that's pretty dishonest. Just put your car in the autotrader, someone will eventually buy it.

and a GSR is going to be any cheaper on insurance ?

try a civic ek/eg hatch and swap a gsr in it... faster and wayyyy less insurance.

switch insurance companies. I used to be with geico, then went to progressive. Then I switched to a local state farm guy, and my insurance dropped in half. Shop around, I am sure you couuld at least shave a few hundred bucks off of that premium. Also, lower your coverage to the state minimum. A lot of times insurance companies load you up with all this extra coverage that you are not required by law to have so they can suck the cash out yo wallet..
