They are not that hard to work on. You do have to take out half the things on top to get to anything, but it is not hard, takes time.
Most AWD drivers don't know how to drive the cars, it takes a while to get used to them, it is not like driving a FWD or a RWD.
As long as you learn how to drive it right, it will quick ***, and be a fun car. Same goes for the EVO.
I won't buy one now, I might when the prices go down a little.
It just seems like the site is more and more pro-honda ---- everything else, except for 2 or 3 guys. You get to a point where you are tired of the old looking economy feeling rusted *** hatch, and you want something better. It's called growing up. I still have a 92 Integra to play with, Hondas are great cars, but they are not the only cars out there.
Nice car...I've had my WRX for 2 years now, I love it, it responds good to modifications, I have all the comforts of a midsized car, A/C, cruise control, power everything, and still runs 12's good enough for most cars on the street.
I did blow my transmission, but I knew it was going to happen, it's already replaced. You won't have that problem with the STi.

There's a huge chance you could've found all of those cars in the same parking lot and just took pictures :1

they are dogs.
There's a bunch that are running 500hp on stock transmissions, and there is one running 700hp that I believe also has a stock transmission.
But it's like I said before, i used to thing like most of you guys, just give me an old civic and I'll make it fast, but sometimes having something nice is better than having something fast. I had a 97 Civic EX that I traded for the WRX, why because I wanted a nicer car, more comfortable an fast. I still kept my hatch to play with, now with the hatch sold, I have my Integra to play with.
When I drive my WRX I feel better complete and safe, knowing it's a reliable car. With the 15 year old hatch I never knew what was going to go first.
Anyways dude, if you ever want to get rid of your engine, tranny, or interior, let me know
