hahaha poor guy. i have realized that the best way to make it on this board is to follow a few basic rules.

1.make sure you have a signature and an avitar before posting, it will make you less conspicous and people won't automatically look at your post count to confirm your n00bness.

2.stay out of the general discussion at least until you have made 20-30 useful posts in other threads, if you choose to jump into the spam capitol of HMT, don't make eye contact.

3.you cannot pwn anything. regardless if you are witty and pwn the ---- out of hotrex (as easy as it seems) you will not get one lick of respect for it as a n00b. (even i will get some ---- for this one still)

4.(the most important) if you start a thread that looks like it is about to go sour and get flamed, have good **** ready to redeem it

Hahaha Special Ediot, 1. we don't need a signature bc we have loads of smilepower, which makes our sleds instantly likeable, and they are so heavy bc they need to be stable to hold all the LOVE steady at high sweetness. 3. OUR Active ------- System will automatically adjust for any ---- talking with replies like "Your Honda is REALLY COOL" and classics such as "I love you and your thoughtful automotive economic sensibility 3. The Electronic Drama content advisor will bleep when coming into content with any undue flaming.

BTW, my wife wants to know if you've ever auditioned or starred in any retail clothing store commercials, such as GAP, or Aeropostale, or perhaps, Abercrombie and Bitch. She says you have that wholesome metrosexual (see Ryan Seacrest) guy nest door look.

Thanks for the welcome, even the gibes. If they're in good humor, I don't mind too much.

crx2fast, yes I've noticed the tendency to flame, and I agree the heli needs a turbo. It's a NA 361 CI HO 4 cylinder, just screaming out for forced induction.

accorepicen, right now, just some minor mods: Cone filter, polished Y pipe, 450cc injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, MBC, taylor 8mm plug wires, and Greddy E-Manage with all the harnesses and pressure sensor. I have the boost turned up to ~15 PSI, and have advanced the timing a few degrees. Next mods are better brake rotors and pads. Then I'm going to have to save up for: new turbos, FMIC and piping, MAF-T with ZO6 MAF, new exhaust headers, and downpipe. My limitation at that point will be my injectors, which will need to be switched out later on down the road.

sinisterCRX, I work for a company called Getronics. I repair and maintain the computer systems for Target, Mervyns, Home Depot, Farmers Insurance, Citi Financial, ARCO am/pm (a west coast gas station chain owned by BP), and a few other financial institutions.

asianpoet, there are jet powered helicopters, but the one pictured is powered by a piston engine, it's the same engine that a Cessna 172 has.

d0nfry, who, me?

sloS13, Typically a pilot referred to as Captain is head of a flight crew, such as a large airliner, or aircraft that requires multiple pilots for normal flight operations. But the actual title given to a person licenced to fly is "Pilot".

welcome - well im a noob to...lol

but i have never read "boost, e-manage, and advanced timing in the same sentence before.

I wonder what is sadder,

Guys with really high post counts flaming "noobs" simply for being new to a particular message board (even though they may be quite knowledgeable and have much to offer), or

Level 15 mages and rangers laughing at a level one fighter for sporting a lame *** +1 dagger.

I cant tell, it looks exactly the same to me....
