Re:New to the board.....
thank you. and since this is a "new guy post" I figure what better way to keep it alive than to post a problem I am trying to work out currently with my little project.
The issue at hand is on the drivers side between the door and the fender. Yes, there is a rather large gap that I'd like to eliminate. I'm pretty sure that the fender is all lined up as all the bolts are now in there. Here are some pics. Hope they work.
Drivers side:
passenger side:
The passenger side is fine (at least I think so. The thing is, is that the drivers door seems to be aligned perfect. It opens and closes just fine. I'm really stumped here. I should also mention that I am also a week new (as of last week) to auto body and to please excuse the mess as I am trying to "prep" it for a paint job. Thank you in advance to anyone who may have a solution for me.

Re:New to the board.....
I do body work for a living...If both fenders were crumpled, which it looks as though, it may not be the frame it could be as simple as the radiator support.(core support)
what kinda car? if its a CRX i would say you o pull the core support.....To find out if its outa sqare pull a tape measure from left front to right back of engine compartment, and the other side as well...(making an X) if its more than an 1/4" out your gonna have to pull it..if its less you should be able to adjust your fenders but measure it without the fenders on....(measure it first before doing anytg drastic...)
