You'd be surprised what you can get launch-wise when you fiddle the suspension a little. Stack a few hockey pucks over the rear struts so that you have no rear suspension travel, and use cable straps or chain to limit front LCA travel. Slip the clutch forever in first. I bet you can hit 1.9x on shitass $25/pop 175/70R13 with practice - I've seen a stock LS swap into a gutted 90 DX do as much without the suspension tweaking, pulling STi/Evo/LS1 down the 1/8th consistently.
