Weird, I did save and it even made a shortcut for it, but it didn't work. This time I think it will. It's downloading right now.
EDIT; Looks good. It looks faster than the last video I saw. You beat the hell out of that car. It's so weird not hearing the BOV so much. Nice work.

Anyways usually beat on her, I just cant help it. If she blows I'll save up and build my spare motor and drive my truck.
I dunno if its faster than last time but she's ok. I just wish 3rd gear pulled harder...damn auto.
Glad you all enjoyed

Stan,
Everyone especially on jbody.org seem to have the conception that bigger is always better, its simply not true.
Look at most automatic cars from the factory. Take the thunderbird for example they used a smaller turbo on the auto to help them out of the hole.
I'm sure this turbo will be fine up to about 15psi then it will lose efficiencey with my engine. I had it up to 12 once on accident for a few seconds...it just lit my tires up off the line.
Anyways for a street car I think smaller turbos are better, I'm proving this on the other site right now.
The 1g dsms are loud and effective, I'm sure you can expect about the same results with it. I love it, its not an obnoxious squeel just a nice pshhhhh.
I'm happy with the setup so far, once I get a wide band and a new fuel pump I'll up the boost. Hopefully an emange soon to follow and we'll see how much boost a 2.4 can take properly tuned before breaking it or my drive train
Sorry that was a lil long, i'm excited time for a cold shower and some sleep

good work, 0-60 in about 7 seconds, not too shabby at all for a 3000lb car, one thing your wrong about tho, the automatic t-bird had a bigger turbo, the manual had a 60/48 T3 and the auto had a 60/63 T3, automatic gears in general are taller, theirfore higher loads at lower speeds = more exhaust energy, I guess Ford figured they might as well put it to use.

Neil,
I've timed the 0-60 at a lil over 6 seconds each time on this video and the last. Some others did the same with similar results on other boards. The gtec I finally got to use this evening said 0-60 was 6.1 I think its about right.
As for the automatic turbos I belive your wrong. I have the specs for them I've looked this up many times and if you search on this board you'll find that the autos had the 48/60 and the manuals had the 60/63. I have one sitting in my garage from my parts car...its a 60/63
This is one of the sources i found a while back

If I'm wrong then oops but I think I'm right, just dont want you to be misinformed for future turbo projects
