How old is it? It might have a recovery partition you can use that will reformat the computer from within. Give Toshiba tech support a call and let them know what you want to do.

i keep getting these ------- messages about a trojan.vundo...wtf do i do to get rid of that

Call Toshiba then, they will have to mail you the disks, hopefully they are able to do that.

Haha, it was strict policy at Dell to always call them "Notebooks", because if they are called laptops and someone puts it on their lap and its too hot and they get "burned" they could sue. Pretty funny stuff.

Does anybody know a site where i can learn about stuff like mozilla and firefox. or just to learn how to use a computer better at all? like a hmt Computers for dummies?
