good luck getting those hacked keys working after 30days and then getting the Indian on the other line to authinticate it.
I bought a brand new laptop with vista on it, hated it at first, put XP on, realized that the video devices were not xp compatible and no xp drivers available from ATI. switched back to vista and used a brand new disc and the code on the bottom of my laptop.
vista stopped working after 30 days, and i had to call some bitch in India to "authorize" my code, even though it came with the ------- computer. that ---- took 1.5 hours of hold time and trying to figure out what the ---- she was saying.
eventually since i was able to prove it was authentic she gave me the "passcode" to have vista fully working again.
M$ got vista on lockdown

i've had to phone activate about a dozen times in the last 3 months on various computers and i've not had any problems...
you wait in a short 1-2 minute que, give a spill about why you need to activate it. After you tell them that you replaced your motherboard b/c it was dead you read them 48 numbers. They read you back 48 numbers.
vista uses a points system of 7 points. every piece of major hardware, video CPU mobo, network device are worth various points. If you don't have 7 points you're fucked. Network cards are worth 3 points a pop making it easy to transfer vista... a mobo swap will insta ---- you it unless you're swapping network devices alot. Easy via USB.
I've got a copy of vista home premium and ultimate OEM i'm not using, but like jo said. bitch better pawn up a couple hundred.
and there are ways to easily stop the timebomb, and fake activation already that are easy easy.
