yea i agree with the MD VA DC cops all beiing ******..
mY dad was popo in MD, so i get a good break here. Been pulled over a bunch never got a ticket. but DC and VA, i dont speed, cause they give out of state cops ------- tickets, so the "my dady" thing dosnt work at all. But not speeding on the high way is a good idea...
i know you say you wernt, im just saying dont do it.
But your best bet is to be polite, and if points is what your really woried about, get a good lawyer. My bud ran from the cops, fliped his car, and crashed thru private property, and wallked away with a pbj. IT will cost 300 maby 400 $$ but think of what it will save you in insurance.

I really don't see why this is important.
You say you were going 67 in a 55, he says 75.
You really can't rely on the "my car can't go that fast" option. The only thing I could see is maybe having your speedo tested and then the judge may give you a continuance if you don't get another tick in 6/12 months. Even with that you are hoping for the some love from the judge, it is your responsibility to keep your car in good repair.
With that option you are also pretty fucked unless the test of the faulty speedo shows you as 20mph slower so you would actually be not speeding at all.
Overall just kill yourself for even asking these questions.
